Nov. 07 – SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel then start a visit to the former Capital City of Angkor Thom, which is considered to resemble the most opulent European culture in the late 12th century. Start with a visit to South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon and Baphuon temples and move on to Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the Leper King Terrace. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon a visit to the fabulous Temple of Ta Prohm then proceed to see the World Heritage Angkor Wat. Evening walk to the top of Bakheng Mountain to see the sunset view over Angkor Wat. (B,L)
Nov. 08 – SIEM REAP
Breakfast at the hotel then a trip to see Banteay Srey, a 10th century Camobdian temple built mainly of red sandstone, with its modern name as “Citadel Women”. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. Proceed then to see Banteay Samre temple and Pradak village. Lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon visit the floating villages on the rim of Tonle Sap Great Lake. Evening dinner with classical show. (B,L,D)
Nov. 09 – SIEM REAP – HANOI
Morning free to explore Siem Reap. Late afternoon transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi with arrival transfer to Mercure Hanoi La Gare Hotel. (B)
Nov. 10 – HANOI
TODAY’S tour focuses on Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, facade only, the One-Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and Ethnology Museum. We will have lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a pedicab tour through the Old Quarters of Hanoi. Enjoy water puppet show. Dinner at local restaurant. (B,L,D)
Nov. 11 – HANOI / HALONG BAY
After breakfast, leave Hanoi for Halong Bay(170km). Enjoy a scenic drive along the Red River delta. Arrive in Halong. Take a private Huong Hai Junk to view the magnificent Halong Bay. Visit grottos and caves. Return to Hanoi in the evening. (B,L)
Nov. 12 – HANOI – HUE
Morning flight to Hue. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Then, visit the former Imperial City followed by a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Overnight at Camillia Hue Hotel. (B,L)
Nov. 13 – HUE / DANANG / HOI-AN
After breakfast, drive to Danang. We will stop in Danang to visit Cham Museum and Non Nuoc carving-village. Lunch in Danang. Continue to Hoian with accommodations at Hoian River Beach Resort. (B,L)
Nov. 14 – HOI-AN
After breakfast, we will have a city tour, featuring:
- Phung Hung Ancient House, which used to be a shop-house of the formers merchants, a city house of special value, built in the middle of the 19th century
- Museum of Hoi An, also the pagoda of Quan Yin, a religious construction built in 1653, contains photographs and many precious artifacts such as maps, statues, porcelain, ceramic, scales, anchor, jar burials, family records, etc. It is the very place one should visit first in old Hoian
- Kwan Kung Temple, was built in the middle of the 17th century to worship Kwan Kung, the most famous general of the “Three States” time (in Chinese history) who is the resplendent symbol of morality: faith, loyalty, frankness, righteousness.
- Japanese Covered Bridge, which was built in the 16th century, with a Japanese pagoda to protect the sailors on the northern side, the statues of two dogs at the western end, and two monkeys at the eastern end. Lunch at local restaurant. The rest of day is free for relaxing.

Free day to relax or explore on your own. (B)
Nov. 16 – HOI-AN / HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON)
Transfer to Danang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City with arrival transfer to Huong Sen Hotel
Nov. 17 – HO CHI MINH CITY
After breakfast, we will depart to Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi used to be a bitter battleground for many years during the Vietnam War. Visitors cannot miss a visit to this “underground village”, an intricate network of over 200km-long tunnels at Ben Dinh, 75km from Ho Chi Minh City. Try a very short segment of this labyrinth of interlaced tunnels and you will find it incredible. Back to Saigon to have lunch with Pho 24. After lunch, we will have a short city tour which features China town with Thien Hau Temple, Reunification Palace, Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. Tonight you are free to explore Saigon at night by yourselves. (B,L)
Nov. 18 – HO CHI MINH CITY / MEKONG DELTA
Depart for My tho (70km southwest of the city) along the road with vast rice fields Visit Cao Dai Temple on the way. Take a leisurely boat over Mekong river to get to canal which is bordered by rows of traditional stilt houses and fruit plantations, viewing local people daily activities there you will enjoy seasonal fruit, taste honey with tea while listening to traditional music also visit a coconut candy workshop which is well known in Ben Tre province. Onward to take horse cart and rowing sampan over canal with very peaceful sceneries and idyllic rural lifestyle. Lunch with Mekong specialties will be arranged in Mekong Rest Stop restaurant. Drive back to Saigon. (B,L)
Nov. 19 – HO CHI MINH CITY
Free day to explore Saigon on your own. (B )
Nov. 20 – HO CHI MINH CITY / CANADA
Morning free for any last minute shopping. Mid afternoon transfer to airport for flights back to Canada via Taipei & Vancouver. (B)
